Dr Julia Lachowicz is an Australian-trained Respiratory and Sleep Physician who provides comprehensive private specialist care in Melbourne. After graduating as dux of her medical class at the University of Tasmania, she completed advanced specialist training across several of the nation's premier tertiary health networks, including The Alfred, Royal Melbourne Hospital and Royal Hobart Hospital.
Dr Lachowicz maintains a broad clinical practice encompassing all aspects of general respiratory and sleep medicine. She is deeply committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care, working collaboratively with general practitioners and allied health teams to optimise her patients' day-to-day quality of life.
Prior to building her private practice at Aeris Lung & Sleep, Dr Lachowicz worked at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where she contributed actively to clinical care, research and medical education. She is currently completing a PhD through the University of Melbourne, focusing on developing novel diagnostic techniques to improve outcomes for patients living with interstitial lung disease.
Dr Lachowicz welcomes referrals for all patients across the full spectrum of sleep and lung conditions.
